JOHN HAVERCROFT

Managing Director

John received his B.A.Sc. in industrial engineering from the University of Toronto. He went on to obtain a B.Ed. and M.Ed. from the Ontario Institute of Education. John enjoyed 36 years as a teacher, high school principal, educational consultant, and the superintendent of education in Toronto and then York Region. During this time, he helped to found the Character Community Foundation of York Region that includes public school boards, government, business, and social services.

For 10 years, first as Area Director then Regional Director, Ontario for LeaderImpact, John had chief responsibility for developing this marketplace ministry and helping leaders discover the relevance of faith in God in their professional and personal lives. John accepted the position of Executive Director in November 2018. As of March 2020, John has stepped back from his role as Executive Director to focus on Ontario, in particular the GTA.

John is married to Dianne, and they love spending time with their three married children and six grandchildren. John appreciates a day below a set of rapids seeking an elusive walleye.
